* Mining - 319 Posts(GEN-141,OBC-74,SC-70,ST-34)
o Qualification:Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in relevant branch of Engineering.
* Electrical-159 Posts(GEN-82,OBC-42,SC-23,ST-12)
o Qualification:Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in Electrical Engineering.
* Mechanical - 145 Posts(GEN-75,OBC-39,SC-21,ST-10)
o Qualification:Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in MechanicalEngineering.
* Civil - 50 Posts (GEN-26,OBC-12,SC-07,ST-05)
o Qualification:Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in Civil Engineering.

o Qualification:Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in Chemical Engineering.
* Electronics & Communications-07 Posts (GEN-05,OBC-01,SC-01)
o .Qualification:Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in electronics & Communication Engineering.

o Qualification:Minimum 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ BSc. (Engg) in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. / IT or MCA with minimum 60% marks.

o Qualification:Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with MBA/ PG Diploma in Management with minimum 60% marks.

o Qualification:Qualified CA / ICWA
* Personnel & HR-136 Posts(GEN-70,OBC-36,SC-20,ST-10)
o Qualification:University degree with MBA (specialization in HR) with minimum 60% marks or Master degree/ PG Diploma (minimum 60%) in Social Science or Labour Welfare / Personnel management or any other qualification recognized by the Labour Ministry for the post of Welfare Officer in mines with minimum 60% marks.
* Sales & Marketing-19 Posts(GEN-09,OBC-03,SC-03,ST-04)
o Qualification: Recognised degree with MBA /PG Diploma in Management with specialization in Marketing (major) from Institute / University with minimum 60% marks.
* Rajbhasha(Hindi)-06 Posts(GEN-05,OBC-01)
o Qualification:MA in Hindi with min 60% marks and Graduation with Hindi and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks.


Compensation / Pay : Selected candidates will be placed as Management Trainee in E1 grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 16,400 – 40,500 at the initial Basic of Rs.16,400/- during the first year (Training period). On successful Completion of Training and passing the test conducted for the purpose, regularization will be in E2 grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 20,600 – 46,500 at the initial Basic of Rs.20,600/- with probation for 1 year.
Posting : Candidates may be posted anywhere in Coal India / Subsidiary companies especially in coalfield areas.
