Amir Khan Vs Zab Judah Fight : British Boxer Amir Khan Wins
Amir Khan scored a knockout decision over Zab Judah to unify the WBA and IBF companionship title moments ago at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Khan ended the fight with a power shot in the middle of Judah's belt line which drew protest from the Brooklyn slugger and his corner. They charged Khan's power shot landed below his belt.
However, subsequent video replay of the fight showed the shot landed right in the middle of Judah's belt and the referee knew it wasn't a foul shot.
Judah did not get up at the end of the count which prompted referee Vic Drakulich to stop the fight and declare Khan winner by knockout in the fifth round.
Khan's victory over Judah has substantially increased his chances of facing unbeaten Floyd Mayweather, Jr, who earlier talked about the real possibility of them facing each other in England possibly next year.
Earlier, Mayweather invited British fight fans to his gym in Las Vegas to watch him train. This gesture from the unbeaten boxer signifies his desire to renew his ties with his British fans from way back when he fought the then British boxing icon Ricky Hatton.

"I have so much love for my fans in the U.K.," said Mayweather. "Ever since I fought Ricky Hatton in 2008, and then held an open workout in London in 2009, they have shown me nothing but support.
"I wanted to do something for them, and I hope they can attend my workout.", Mayweather added.
Before signing up Judah, Khan was scheduled to face unbeaten Tim Bradley but negotiations fell through because of Bradley's conflict with his promoter.
Asked what he thinks about Bradley, he said " I think he is scared."
With his impressive win over Judah, Khan has improved his career record to 26 wins with only one loss.

Russell Brand paid touching Tribute to friend Amy Winehouse
Comedian and Actor Russell Brand paid touching Tribute to friend Amy Winehouse
The pair first met on London's gigging scene, through mutual friends.
Russell Brand said: "When you love someone who suffers from the disease of addiction you await the phone call. There will be a phone call. The sincere hope is that the call will be from the addict themselves, telling you they've had enough, that they're ready to stop, ready to try something new. Of course though, you fear the other call, the sad nocturnal chime from a friend or relative telling you it's too late, she's gone."
Speaking about their first encounter Brand said: "When I first met her around Camden she was just some twit in a pink satin jacket shuffling round bars with mutual friends."
At the time, Russell Brand was barely out of rehab and failed to notice that they both shared an affliction, "the disease of addiction".
On hearing her sultry voice for the first time at a Paul Weller gig Brand said: "I arrived late and as I made my way to the audience through the plastic smiles and plastic cups I heard the rolling, wondrous resonance of a female vocal."
"My ears, my mouth, my heart and mind all instantly opened. Winehouse. Winehouse? Winehouse! That twerp, all eyeliner and lager dithering up Chalk Farm Road under a back-combed barnet, the lips that I'd only seen clenching a fishwife fag and dribbling curses now a portal for this holy sound."
Brand finished up his post with a plea to addicts suffering the same as Amy was.
He said: "Now Amy Winehouse is dead, like many others whose unnecessary deaths have been retrospectively romanticised, at 27 years old. Whether this tragedy was preventable or not is now irrelevant. It is not preventable today. We have lost a beautiful and talented woman to this disease."
"Not all of us know someone with the incredible talent that Amy had but we all know drunks and junkies and they all need help and the help is out there."

Additionally, an autopsy is scheduled to take place tomorrow, the site reported.
