Kochi : CPI (M) Puthankurissu LC member KM Eldo, surrendered before the Crime Branch today. His arrest has been recorded and would be presented before court today. The Kolanchery area committee of CPI (M) had earlier suspended KM Eldo, for his alleged role in the case. The Crime Branch had on Monday taken into custody the Santro car owned by Mr Eldo. The car was used to transport the 17 year old victim to Thiruvananthapuram, where a gang incluidng Thomas Vargheese, CPI (M) LC secretary had sexually exploited the girl. The investigations has revealed that Eldo too had used the girlEldo, a worker of Cochin Refiniries was at large ever since the scam broke out. The Crime Branch has found out the girl was taken to Bangalore and different parts of Tamil Nadu and presented before lot of people. The investigation team has so far identified 60 of the 100 people, incuding film personalities who had used the girl.
